A man says he had to throw items of clothing in the bin after a brown liquid shot up his leg in the toilet of a Nottinghamshire Morrisons. The local council says it is investigating the complaint after the man raised concerns about the potential spread of disease, though Morrisons says the problem has now been fixed.
Mr Devey said: "There was a cone there and as I stepped to move around the cone, unbeknown to me I stepped onto a bubble. Under that was this brown liquid which shot up my leg and all over my foot."Mr Devey says he was told by a member of the security team that the floor had been broken for some time, and that he therefore went to staff to immediately complain. But Mr Devey says he was told the manager was away on the day of the alleged incident .
He added: "I had to drive all the way back to Birmingham straight away. We were due to go out for something to eat but I said to my partner that I couldn't have gone out as I was, so I went home and got straight in the shower.
