The incident occurred when the victim returned home with a friend to take her pet cat.Refusing to be engaged in a fight with her brother, the victim walked away.
Possibly annoyed by her action, the brother followed the victim to the motorcycle parking bay below the flats where they were engaged in an argument.Seberang Prai Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Noorzainy Mohd Noor said investigation revealed the incident happened as a result of a prolonged family feud.
“Doctors who attended to the victim confirmed both her eardrums were injured due to the force of the attack. “The suspect’s urine test was negative for drugs while background check showed he had previous records for criminal and drug related offences,” he said in confirming the suspect’s arrest.Related stories
