Updated: Jul. 18, 2024, 11:16 a.m.Cleveland Heights police are investigating auto thefts that took place on Mayfield and Glenmont roads, and an attempted auto theft on Monticello Boulevard.At 12:15 p.m. July 12, officers responded to a report of people inside a vacant, for-sale Sycamore Road home.A man called down from the second floor and asked the officer what he wanted.

It was also discovered that the man was wanted on a felony warrant for a weapons offense issued by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office. For his July 12 arrest, the CHPD charged the man with receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, carrying a concealed weapon, having a weapon under disability and obstructing official business.At 11:40 a.m. July 12, police were dispatched to the Sunni and Co. Hair Salon, 2122 S. Taylor Road, on a report of a man standing in front of the business, yelling.The man, 34, told police that his boyfriend, 35, was inside the salon.
