KUALA LUMPUR: A civil servant has been arrested over the theft of a Touch ’n Go card belonging to one of the victims of the recent landslide in Batang Kali, Selangor.
Selangor acting police chief Deputy Comm Datuk S. Sasikala Devi said the 27-year-old suspect was arrested in the Klang Valley on Friday.
The post alleged that an irresponsible individual was using a Touch ’n Go card belonging to the victim. Earlier, Chinese media had reported that the family of a teacher who died in the landslide tragedy was pleading for the return of her personal belongings, especially her mobile phone, that had gone missing.
