A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder following a shooting near Denver’s Coors Field. Dennis Armstrong is also accused of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, felony menacing, and illegal discharge of a firearm. The victim, who was shot in the hand, was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on investigation of attempted murder in a Wednesday night shooting behind Denver ’s Coors Field, police said Thursday.
Denver officers found and arrested Armstrong after he fled from the scene of the shooting Wednesday night and reportedly threatened another person.The Denver District Attorney’s Office will determine official charges.
