Authorities said 20-year-old Saul Alfas was allegedly doing donuts in the Long Beach intersection when his SUV collided with another vehicle, killing 21-year-old Jacqueline Zamarripa.
A man wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Long Beach has turned himself in, according to police.
According to police, the crash happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Willow Street and Caspian Avenue, west of the Los Angeles River. Zamarripa was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The 20-year-old driver in the truck with her remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
