Columbus police charged a man with murder over a month after a deadly shooting in the Short North.
Charging documents for Woods-Fafahana and a federal gun charge for Shaheed Russell, accused of having a gun at the scene of the shooting, say a verbal altercation turned physical on September 21, around 2:43 a.

In documents filed on October 27, detectives said they were able to identify the vehicle the shooter left in and the driver of the car from videos. They searched the driver's social media and later identified Woods-Fafahana as the alleged shooter.Woods was arrested by Columbus SWAT on Friday and taken to jail.
