Officers arrested a suspect matching the description of a car burglar who had committed multiple vehicle burglaries in the area. The arrest was made at 2 a.m. on Tuesday after a confrontation with a civilian who described the suspect to the police.
Officers arrested a man matching the description of the suspect in multiple vehicle burglaries while he was allegedly rummaging through unlocked cars.
The Lantana Police Department said they responded to a call at 2 a.m. on Tuesday where they said they met a man who told officers he confronted a car burglar and that individual took off on foot northbound on North Atlantic Drive near Hypoluxo Island, in Lantana.
