A 27-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly attacking employees at a Great Clips salon in Santee, California. The incident, which was captured on video and widely shared online, involved vandalism, threats, and the throwing of shampoo bottles, resulting in minor injuries to one employee.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged violent outburst at a Santee hair salon last week. According to the Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening at a Great Clips location on Mission Gorge Road. The suspect arrived late for his scheduled appointment, and when a staff member pointed this out, he reportedly lost his temper.
The ensuing episode, which was captured on cellphone video and widely shared on social media, involved the man vandalizing the business, threatening employees, and throwing shampoo bottles at them. One employee sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack. The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived. However, thanks to numerous tips from the public, investigators were able to identify him as the perpetrator. He was subsequently taken into custody and booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of assault, vandalism, and parole violation. He is currently being held without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Thursday afternoon
