According to a memo sent by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, a man going by 'Father Martin' is getting access to and stealing from Catholic churches.

said officers responded around 10:45 a.m. to the 4500 block of Village Fair Drive on a stabbing call. When they got there, officers found a man stabbed behind a business, police said. The man died at the scene.

Police said the victim got into a fight with another man, identified as Jarrod Martin, and that Martin allegedly stabbed the man. Martin was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said Martin faces a murder charge. The victim's identity was not shared and will be determined through the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said.
