Family told investigators that they were hosting a watch party for a boxing match. After the match, a domestic dispute between one of his neighbors and a woman broke out, and the host intervened at the request of the woman. The dispute then became between the host and their neighbor, where the man became aggressive, and the host asked him to leave. The man, however, allegedly refused to leave and continued arguing with the host.
That's when the host went to retrieve his firearm and opened fire at the man, with the bullet allegedly grazing the man's shoulder and then hit his 7-year-old daughter in the chest. She was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition, and the man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
