Police are investigating the deaths of a man and woman found dead Sunday at an apartment in San Antonio's Stone Oak area. Officials believe the deaths are a murder-suicide, with the man killing the woman before taking his own life.

Police first responded to a 'high-risk welfare check' around 9 a.m. Sunday in the 7900 block of Jones Maltsberger Road, where officials incorrectly believed a man they were looking for was located, said Ximena Alvarez, a San Antonio Police Department spokesperson.
