A man has admitted to coercing a child into sending him sexually explicit videos, U.S Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.
Samuel Schwinger, 37, of Lakewood, pleaded guilty in Trenton federal court Wednesday to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, prosecutors said. Schwinger used a web-based application to communicate with the juvenile in March 2019 and coerced the child into sending him the explicit material, officials said. The U.S. Attorney’s Office did not give the specific age of victim, but said the child was under 12 at the time of the incident.
The defendant later admitted that he communicated with more than 25 minors for the purpose of requesting sexual images that he intended to distribute, authorities said.Our journalism needs your support. Please subscribe today to
