A 30-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Richardson alley last week was arrested Friday, police say.
Tyrain Mar Keis Mitchell, who was arrested in Commerce, was booked into the Hunt County jail, where he faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault — a first-degree felony.the assault took place Saturday in the 2000 block of Plymouth Rock Drive, near Shamrock Place, where they say a woman told officers she was sexually assaulted by someone she didn’t know while walking home in an alleyway.
Police said evidence collected during their investigation led them to Mitchell, but no additional information was made available. Texas Department of Public Safety records show Mitchell is a registered sex offender who was convicted in 2012 on a charge of burglary with the intent of committing sexual abuse.
