A man is accused of punching a bus window after being honked at by the bus driver. Deputies arrested a man after a road rage incident involving a school bus full of children.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said deputies went to the area of Sturbridge Road and Beacon Hill Road around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and found a school bus with a broken window. Deputies said they learned from the bus driver that she honked her horn at a man who had cut her off. The man, later identified as 25-year-old Jared Dennis, then got out and confronted the bus driver, allegedly punching a bus window and breaking it.
At least 22 kids were onboard at the time, the sheriff's office said. Allen was arrested Thursday. A photo showed the broken window and and that the bus belonged to South-Western City Schools. He is charged with menacing, criminal damaging, disorderly conduct, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and parking a vehicle in the roadway. Court records show he will be arraigned on Friday.
