New charges have been filed in the case of a man accused of shooting a woman multiple times outside an after-hours club in southwest Harris County, following news of the woman's death at a later time.
Emmanuel House, 27, was charged with murder Tuesday in connection with the death of Breianna Williams, 24, according to Harris County District Court records. His bond has not yet been set. House had already been facing aggravated assault with a deadly weapons charges in connection with the July shooting of Williams in the 13600 block of Bissonnet StreetBut after Williams was injured in the shooting in July, she succumbed to her injuries Sept. 5, according to a spokesman for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The Harris County medical examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide and sent those results to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 12, officials said.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez in July said officers arrested House at the scene because an armed security officer acted quickly and stopped him there.
