Police near Pittsburgh say they caught a man involved in organized retail thefts at Home Depot stores across the country.
Ohio Township police said an officer on patrol was aware of the situation and noticed a vehicle linked to Antonio Bryant.
Authorities said the officer “set up surveillance and was able to apprehend” Bryant “as he was committing his latest theft.”According to the police department, more than 100 thefts at Home Depot stores have been linked to Bryant, who is from Georgia. Those thefts happened in states including Texas, Kansas, Ohio, and now Pennsylvania.
The department said information learned from last week's arrest will be shared with law enforcement across the country.
