A Pennsylvania man is federally charged after officials say he met a 14-year-old Ohio girl on a dating app, traveled to meet her, and then sexually assaulted her.
WAYNE COUNTY , Ohio -
The Department of Justice says the FBI became involved on Nov. 28, 2023 when the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office contacted them for help. According to court records, deputies went to the hotel, found Rudra with the victim and took him into custody. Court records state Rudra and the girl communicated for months via Snapchat. The DOJ said they made plans to meet, and he picked her up from her Shreve home on Nov. 24, 2023.
