Police called Thursday about man walking around Bluebonnet Circle firing gun. Shooting prompts emergency alert from nearby TCU. Suspect arrested.
A man who fired a gun Thursday afternoon as he walked outdoors along Bluebonnet Circle in west Fort Worth went into at least one business there and was soon arrested, according to police and witnesses.
A witness who works at a business on the circle told the Star-Telegram that she heard two gunshots, went to a door and saw a man who was walking pull a gun from his pocket and reload it. Another witness who works at the House of Hair salon told the Star-Telegram she was doing a customer’s hair when a man with his hands in his pockets walked in behaving oddly. That witness did not see a gun but said the man “was blankly staring” at customers and employees and was heard mumbling before he walked out. It is not clear whether the man is Reverie.
Officers arrested Reverie shortly after SWAT and negotiators arrived, according to police. Officers have not yet confirmed how many shots were fired, but said about three to four businesses in the area were evacuated as a result.
