Man, 59, dies after being attacked on dance floor at cantina in Chula Vista [Breaking]
Chula Vista police are investigating after a 59-year-old man died at a hospital, six days after he was assaulted at a restaurant and bar, a lieutenant said Monday.
The attack occurred at Papagayos Grill and Cantina on Otay Lakes Road near Eastlake Parkway on April 15. The victim, Jose Perez Fong, was assaulted on the crowded dance floor, Lt. Anthony Molina said.Perez was taken to a hospital and treated in an intensive care unit.
