JOHOR BARU: A 54-year-old man was found dead in a hotel room here in Johor Jaya.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Ismail Dollah said the police received a call from one of the hotel workers at about 10am on Tuesday .
"The hotel worker made the call after getting no response from the guest despite knocking on his door several times. "The door was also locked and the man was last seen on Monday morning," he said in a statement released here on Tuesday ."An ambulance from Hospital Sultan Ismail was also sent to the scene and its medical officer declared that the man had died," he said."The man checked into the hotel alone on July 12 and had been making payments on a daily basis," he said, adding that the case was classified as sudden death.
