Brock Momcilovic, his girlfriend Jedha Kinder, and their two dogs were in the trailer and annex at the Cumberland River rest stop on the Great Ocean Road on August 20, when a man allegedly jumped inside their car and drove off.

Kinder and the two dogs were dragged 200 metres up the road before the canvas of the annex ripped, while Momcilovic remained inside the attached camper trailer. The car ended up coming to a stop, just around the corner from the police station, after the "clutch blew out", Momcilovic said.Kinder suffered injuries to her arm, while their two dogs escaped.

One of the dogs, Pablo, was located by some nearby campers about 5.45pm and returned to his worried owners. He was charged with two counts of reckless conduct endangering life, recklessly causing injury, theft of a motor vehicle and driving whilst disqualified. The Avalon man was presented to Geelong Magistrates' Court today and has been remanded to appear at the same court on September 26.
