It was Super! (Trouper)
When I was offered the tickets for the show, I was immediately up for it, I mean who doesn't love bopping along to feel good songs like Dancing Queen and Money, Money, Money? So, when I found out the musical was performing in Blackpool's Winter Gardens, I jumped at the chance to be able to sing some of my favourite songs amongst other like-minded fans.
Wanting to find out more, Sophie invites all three to her wedding and of course, chaos ensues. In the end, Sophie and Sky postponed their wedding, after realising that they're too young and decide to travel the world together instead. It's no wonder why the musical has stood the test of time. Even being in the theatre, you can feel the buzz and excitement of fans, newbies and theatre veterans, all awaiting a night of singing ABBA songs that will undoubtedly remain as an earworm for days or even weeks to come.
But of course, that's not in the spirit of things and genuinely, if you're looking for a night of fun and harmless entertainment, it's definitely a show I'd recommend you go and see. What has to be one of the highlights for me though, was the end, when the audience were encouraged to get up and dance to a trilogy of encores.
