The attacking midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements at Mamelodi Sundowns and he could soon be a free agent again.
Domingo joined the Moroccan giants at the start of the season following his release from the Brazilians.
According to Domingo’s agent Lance Davids, the matter is already with FIFA after the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement. Should Raja be found guilty by FIFA, they are most likely to be hit with a heavy transfer ban until they pay Domingo.“We have been in talks to try settle this behind closed doors and amicably with Raja Casablanca, but we are deadlocked at the moment and the only way forward seems to be taking our matter to FIFA,” said Davids.
“There is no decision made yet. We will wait on FIFA’s directive regarding this current dispute before we confirm our next step. Haashim just wants to play football and of course make a decent living from for his young family,” Davids added.Now, Domingo is soon going to be a free agent regardless of what FIFA’s outcome may be given the irreparable relationship with Raja.
