Mamelodi Sundowns have been largely successful with their international signings and are now targeting an African star as the next!
But on a ratio of trophies they were playing for, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Sundowns are not satisfied. In total, the Brazilians played 57 games during the season. This being a campaign that saw them play in six competitions, a return of less than 50% may seem underwhelming. This, especially seeing though they went into heavy recruitment mode, in both the offseason and January transfer Windows.
This was in anticipation of a very rigorous and demanding season, that would see Sundowns wanting to remain holistically competitive. Their signing spree saw them sign the likes ofNext season they will be having an additional tournament to worry about, and it will arguably be their biggest.
