EFF leader Julius Malema and his wife, Mantoa, have reached a settlement with ANC MP Boy Mamabolo at the Polokwane High Court.
The court ordered Mamabolo to apologise to the Malema family within 24 hours and to pay for the legal costs.
Malema denied the allegation and in retaliation he claimed that President Cyril Ramaphosa had abused his late wife, Nomazizi Mtshotshisa. The statement suggested by the Malemas legal team reads as follows: “I would like to offer my sincere and unreserved apology to Mr and Mrs Malema for the unfortunate comments I made during the state of the nation address on 13 February 2020. I repeated these harmful comments in the media and on the occasion of the debate of the state of the nation address”.
