Malin Andersson bravely opens up about her experiences of domestic abuse as she supports OKClosetClearOut campaign
Star of Love Island Malin Andersson knows all about abusive relationships. She’s had to suffer the pain of two of them. And that’s why she is delighted to be supporting the OK! Closet Clear Out Campaign.

You can sign up at the top of the page. “Clearing out my closet has made me realise just how many items of clothing I don’t wear any more,” says Malin. “It’s so cathartic, like having a clean slate. Now that I’ve done my part, I’ve nominated five of my closest friends to do the same and donate to Refuge to help all those suffering during the lockdown period.
Malin has been through a lot before and after finding fame on Love Island in 2016. The star’s four week old daughter Consy, named in memory of her late mother, passed away in January 2017. Consy was born with a severe heart condition. She adds, “The perpetrator makes it feel like it’s your fault. All of this gave me feelings of helplessness, anxiety, depression, shame and worry. I never felt like I had a home because I was always getting kicked out.
