KOTA KINABALU: Malaysians and immigration pass holders who are in Peninsular Malaysia, Labuan and Sarawak who wish to enter Sabah need no longer take the Covid-19 swab tests prior to coming here.
Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said this is the latest update to the recovery movement control order and some standard operating procedures adopted in the state.
“All they need to do is to fill up a health declaration form issued by the state Health Department and to abide by all SOPs when entering Sabah, ” he said in a statement here on Monday . He said that the regulations set up and enforced by the Immigration Department and other agencies still apply during the recovery MCO.
Shafie also said that health officials will continue to monitor and assess health risks of those who enter Sabah.
