Malaysia says TikTok not fully compliant with local laws

KUALA LUMPUR - Short video app TikTok's compliance with Malaysian laws is unsatisfactory, the country's communications minister Fahmi Fadzil said on Thursday. TikTok must be more proactive in curbing the spread of fake news and defamatory content on its platform, Fahmi said in a social media post after meeting with TikTok representatives.We encourage you to use comments to engage with other users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other.
