Previously, we reported that Universiti Teknologi Mara would be recipients of 10 Starlink internet devices following the government’s agreement with the Elon Musk company. True enough, Malaysia’s first Starlink internet device has officially been installed at UiTM’s Kuala Pilah campus in Negeri Sembilan.
He added that the use of Starlink internet devices which utilises satellite connection for internet access is a proof of concept to help students get a better network connection. This is a temporary measure while waiting for a bigger allocation to install access points for the campus’ WiFi.
