Hadi says after Asyraf Wajdi's mock offer to 'purify' Umno and DAP in unity govtMelaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh said Malaysia’s first energy efficient vehicle and electric vehicle manufacturing plant is set to be built in the Hicom Pegoh Industrial Park here with an investment value exceeding RM100 million.
He said that around 1,000 new job opportunities in the automotive sector would be created for the people of Melaka, particularly those residing in the Pegoh area, thus, boosting the state’s economic growth while helping to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the future. Ab Rauf said this effort is in line with the state government’s direction to always be open to attract more new investments to Melaka through investor-friendly and business-friendly policies.
