Meskipun negara mempunyai kluster perhimpunan tabligh namun KKM berjaya mengekang penularan Covid-19.
Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, negara lewat selama 9 hari untuk membendung penularan wabak itu daripada kumpulan berkenaan. Beliau berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas unjuran Malaysia untuk mencapai angka 1 digit kes baru Covid-19 selepas Thailand mengalami trend tersebut selama 2 dua hari berturut-turut.
Daripada jumlah itu, katanya, sebanyak 2,155 kes positif dengan jumlah keseluruhan sebanyak 5,851 kes.
