CORONAVIRUS | The ban also applies to foreign citizens who have visited the city of Daegu and Cheongdo county in the last 14 days.

| Malaysia has imposed a temporary travel ban on all visitors from South Korea as the global Covid-19 outbreak worsens.

He added that Malaysian citizens, permanent residents and those holding student or long-term social passes who have visited the city of Daegu and Cheongdo county in the last 14 days before arriving in Malaysia must also undergo screening by the Health Ministry. Noor Hisham said the Health Ministry is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation in those countries.
