Malaysia has the potential to repeat its 1993 achievement of entering the top 100 FIFA rankings if the planned revolution of the national squad proves successful. However, achieving this goal is a challenging task for new coach Peter Cklamovski, requiring meticulous planning and a high-quality squad comprising local, heritage, and naturalized players. The team must also secure victories against higher-ranked opponents in 'A' class friendly matches and avoid facing lower-ranked teams.
