A mall in Makati City said two of its employees have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a statement Thursday, the Power Plant Mall said the two employees were part of the mall’s housekeeping and security team.
Power Plant Mall said Patient 1 was designated at the R1 Level Mall Expansion North female bathroom, while Patient 2 was assigned as a roving guard in the mall’s R3 Level.The mall meanwhile assured its patrons that both patients “had no high-risk contacts” with any customer and tenant staff “due to the nature of their posts.”
The Power Plant Mall said it has also sanitized all the areas where the patients have gone through and have scheduled a “total disinfection” of the mall.
