Fans planning a visit to Liverpool Comic Con will be gutted by a major name leaving the event line-up. Comic Con is set to return for another year at the M&S Bank Arena on Liverpool’s waterfront this May. The event sees thousands of fans kitted out to represent their favourite TV, film, video game franchises. So far, 30 guests have been confirmed for the event from a wide range of backgrounds with organisers promising they have more stars in the pipeline yet to be revealed.
But, as the event draws closer, some fans were disappointed to learn their favourites wouldn't be in Merseyside. Fans have already been left gutted due to unforeseen cancellations by stars like Marvel's Elizabeth Olsen, famed for her role as the Scarlet Witch.
