Star jockey Jamie Kah has been cleared of a serious brain injury after she suffered a horrific fall at Flemington on Saturday. 7NEWS
Kah’s partner and fellow jockey, Ben Melham, took to social media to announce that Kah “remains heavily sedated to allow her brain to rest” and there is “no swelling, bleeding or fractures.
Kah drifted in and out of consciousness while being assessed by paramedics on the track, but has since showed signs of significant improvement after being driven to the Royal Melbourne Hospital via ambulance.Channel 7 / Twitter “A second precautionary scan on Jamie reiterated the results of the initial scan indicating that there is no swelling, bleeding or fractures,” Melham wrote on Twitter on Monday morning.“She is in a stable condition.
