'Worry about your own coaches, fans, and athletic programs. You have plenty of issues in Columbus to keep you occupied,' writes one Illinois fan.
during his ejection from the OSU game on Feb. 24, you noted that such a"display" is"not unusual for him." Really? Mr. Underwood has been an extremely successful Division I head coach for nine seasons and was an assistant for many years before that. He’d never been ejected from a game until 10 days ago. During his five seasons at Illinois, I struggle to recall when he has even drawn a technical foul.
So why is Illinois OK with the behavior of its basketball coach? Because it’s not pathological.
The Buckeyes occupy an extremely fragile ethical glass house. OSU fans' projection onto the University of Illinois and coach Underwood is as amusing as it is defamatory.: Disrespect. That's all your article is. You are a biased journalist and someone from the state of Ohio that has the audacity to speak about the antics of coaches is as laughable as anything.
Howard deserves a break. I don’t think anyone is happy about the craziness with Wisconsin, but Wisconsin coaches were not innocent, either. You are not talking about them, are you? I wonder why. Your bias is ridiculous. Michigan fans for the most part are willing to give Howard a break. Why aren’t you willing? You saw everything right? You saw how Wisconsin’s coach impeded his progress by putting his hands on him, right? That is a big no-no when heated words are exchanged.
