MagnumPI season 5 may happen at NBC and USA Network after the reboot series was canceled by CBS.

Magnum P.I. may be getting a potential fifth season on NBC and USA Network. Developed by Peter M. Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim, it serves as a reboot of the popular 1980s television series of the same name, following former Navy SEAL, Thomas Magnum, who upon returning from Afghanistan, uses his skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii. The show stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Amy Hill, and Tim Kang.

Now, according to Deadline, Universal Television has begun looking at new homes for a potential renewal of Magnum P.I. While Paramount+ has been considered, the report claims USA and NBC are in conversations to make Magnum P.I. season 5. There have not been negotiations between NBCUniversal and Paramount Global and it is also being noted that the series has to sort out the SVOD library rights.
