Green had previously considered becoming an anesthesiologist, but she was inspired by her mother—Southwest Airlines pilot and Magnificat alumna Joanne Stepic —to pursue a career in aviation, according to information from Magnificat High School.BAYarts recently announced the next installment of its Winter Concert Series features Monica Robins & the Whiskey Kings. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Sullivan Family Auditorium, 28795 Lake Road.
Entry fee is $5 for visitors ages 12 and up. The fee includes a raffle ticket and all proceeds support the club’s scholarship fund. Dealers may call 440-334-7539.Former Bay Village law director, Gary Ebert, will discuss city government and how it benefits the citizens of the community, during a presentation Feb. 20 at the Bay Lodge, 492 Bradley Road. The evening begins with a social at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.
There is no excuse not to keep yourself informed regarding the Finance + Facilities for the Future Plan and the proposed Permanent Improvement Levy that will be on the May 6 Primary Election ballot. A total of 17 RRMS students were recognized by the VFW for their participation in the competition, including three individuals who received awards as the top three essays submitted. Congratulations to Klerica Kaceli, First Place; Sasha Ridge, Second Place; and Camryn Makii, Third Place.
