Radio One’s Live Lounge often brings out the best of the biggest stars, capturing them as they reimagine songs by other artists, but in their distinct style. On Monday,“I turned the year’s biggest bop into a sad sad slow jam for BBC,” she wrote on Instagram, tagging McRae, who reshared it, writing, “Omggggg.” The rendition hears Rogers hitting high notes and elongating lines as she strums her guitar.
“I’ve joked with my friends that it’s a song about having low expectations, but really, I think it’s about craving simple baselines – a good lover or someone that’s nice to me.”The Far Right Is Crawling With Eclipse Conspiracy Theories— co-produced by herself and Ian Fitchuk — features songs such as “The Kill,” “I Still Do,” and “So Sick of Dreaming.
