Married At First Sight's April Banbury has told how 'life is not as I once knew it' after a spinal injury left her unable to walk and suffering severe pain and numbness
Married At First Sight star April Banbury has been left unable to walk and in constant pain after an agonising spinal injury.
April told Mail Online how shocked she was to have suffered such a severe injury, explaining that it had happened when she had lifted a heavy object "in the wrong way". "I've gone from being a super sociable, busy and adventurous woman always living my life to the fullest, to quite literally being a hermit. For weeks now I have been house bound because I haven't been able to walk."
April told how sitting down was incredibly painful and that she got some relief from lying down, but is wearing a back brace and beginning physical therapy which she hopes will be an alternative to surgery as she is worried about the possibility that an operation could leave her paralysed.April has been relying on friends for support in even basic daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and getting dressed, and says her arms and legs feel so heavy that she struggles with lifting a kettle.
