The West Yorkshire referee was in charge of what proved to be Rob Edwards’ final game at the Hornets helm, the 2-2 draw with Sunderland on September 17, and has now been appointed for tomorrow’s Championship fixture as Slaven Bilic’s side aim to get back on track following Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Swansea City.
Madley has officiated nine games this season, six of which have been in the second tier, and has shown a total of 41 yellow cards and three reds. Jonathan Hunt and George Byrne are due to be the assistant referees at Bloomfield Road, with Darren Bond the fourth official.
