Speaking on the House floor, Representative Jamie Raskin made a reference to 'cocaine-fueled orgies,' in reference to Cawthorn's remarks earlier this week.

While speaking on the House floor about federally decriminalizing marijuana, Raskin said,"I concede our party is not for the kind of cocaine-fueled orgies that a freshman Republican representative bragged about this week." "But we do understand that their marijuana prohibition laws don't work for our people," Raskin added."The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington, I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, average age is probably 60 or 70," Cawthorn said during an interview with thepodcast last Thursday.
"What did you just ask me to come to?' And then you realize they're asking you to come to an orgy," Cawthorn added during the interview. Additionally, Cawthorn also said that he has seen some unnamed politicians do"a key bump of cocaine."
