Actress Madelyn Cline is set to star in Lionsgate's upcoming thriller 'Day Drinker' alongside Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz. Directed by Marc Webb, the film follows a cruise ship bartender and a mysterious day drinker who become entangled in a criminal underworld.
Besides Outer Banks, Cline was also part of the all-star ensemble cast of Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. She is currently in production for Sony Pictures’ untitled I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, with original cast members Jennifer Love Hewitt Cline and Freddie Prinze Jr. Cline will also next be seen in Amazon MGM Studios’ romantic drama movie The Map That Leads to You with KJ Apa.
Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, described Day Drinker as a film that “combines a highly commercial concept with wildly outrageous twists and turns all set in an incredible world” in a statement.
