How has COVID-19 affected the final year students at Central Saint Martins?
have had to do things a little differently this year. In a culmination of four years of work, and to some a lifetime of preparation, this year's cohort have had to learn to work, create and stay motivated while in isolation - from all over the world.
As COVID-19 sent universities and countries into lockdown, it spelled the end to many students' plans for larger-than-life creations and full collections to be paraded down the Granary Square catwalk. Suddenly deadline meant a two-look creation to be shown digitally without the aid of the technical facilities and in-person tutors that are a hallmark of the prestigious college.
As they prepared to digitally hand in their final collections, LOVE caught up with 16 of the college's graduating students. From inside their makeshift home, and in one case, hotel studio, we captured the magic, mayhem and madness ahead of the digital showcase which airs on theSee the collections of the BA Fashion Class of 2020 on Wednesday 17th June at 2pm
