But Alan McGaw, Alloa, retorted: “Three points was all that mattered. Yes St Mirren getting man sent off, which was deserved, changed the game. Hopefully, Rangers get back players from injuries during the international break ready for Hibs in two weeks.” Steve McSherry, Uddingston, added: “What an embarrassing result for St Mirren. When they got a player sent off and Rangers got their mandatory penalty, I thought that made it an even match. Let’s be honest that was the only way Rangers were going to get anything from the game.”
