Officers with the MACS Unit say they saw the three conducting reconnaissance in order to rob a business in the 400 block of East South Boulevard. The officers say as they approached, the teenagers ran away.
One of the 13-year-olds was recognized by officers from a law enforcement bulletin issued by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers regarding the same business being robbed in a previous incident, MACS said. The MACS Unit remains committed to ensuring the safety of our local communities and will continue to conduct operations aimed at preventing and reducing crimes.
