Fuad, however, declined to comment and said a press statement will also be issued by the state MACC later about the arrest.
It is learnt that two doctors from Seberang Jaya Hospital and one from Bukit Mertajam Hospital were nabbed by MACC. The arrests came after Penang Senator Dr RA Lingeshwaran called on the government, particularly the Human Resources Ministry, to explain the alleged suspension of senior doctors handling Socso disability claims purportedly linked to a cartel in the state.
