PUTRAJAYA: A suspect who was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission over a case died while undergoing treatment on Thursday (June 15).
MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the individual was one of the three who were arrested for their alleged involvement in illegal mining and money laundering in Raub, Pahang.
He said the MACC officers who were involved in the investigation would give their statement to the police regarding the incident. The deceased and two others were arrested in Bentong at 6.30pm on Wednesday , believed to be involved in illegal mining and money laundering, amounting to RM1.8mil.
